I read on google that this location was open till 11pm. I heard the Manager Alejandro announce that they closed at 9. That would have been easy enough to edit on google, except that they don't give a tinkerer's damn about their customers. His we don't give a damn answer was "We're sorry about sir", but I wasn't affected, so the right answer would have been "good idea, sir." I made the edit for them, because they wouldn't spend 3 minutes of an employees time to save you an Hour!
They also show how ungrateful they are for our business for asking for donations to charities of THEIR choosing. Do you like being asked for money? How about the poor employee that has to rudely(because it's an inherently rude question) ask 200 customers a day for donations to a charity of your choosing! Publix is a psychopath, but most corporations are!
Everything was easy to find and most registers were open. Even though it was the day before Thanksgiving, we got in and out quickly.
The Publix on Hialeah Drive is.closer but I.will drive.to.the Doral Publix. It has much better parking and a.larger store. Seems to.have greater variety of.products. I.have been shopping here for.years. would be nice if It was updated to.a."super" Publix with all of.the extra products.
This Publix was the best Miami had, they change manager's and it deteriorated very fast, I found four times expired milk, twice they lack Publix orange juice, and many other products. Now they have another new manager let's hope it improves.
I love Publix, but this location is the worst. I spent more time here than I should have. I was there to get a few items and school lunch for my daughter. The ladies at the deli section --there's, what, four of them -- and they seem more concentrated on chatting with each other than engaging with their customers. I wanted a pound of Boar's Head OVEN ROASTED turkey. She hands me the Ovengold ROASTED turkey. There's a difference. It's labeled differently. Lady insisted it's the same, that it's oven roasted. Ovengold roasted has seasoning on it, whereas oven roasted doesn't. At first I was going to just accept it, seeing they were busy, but I didn't want to spend money on something that's going to taste different. Lady wanted to point out that it's the lower sodium and told the other lady next to her that I should have said, "lower sodium." No, lady. I go by the name of the type of turkey. And why do people here automatically speak to you in Spanish and most seem to not even understand English??? I get it's majority a Spanish community, but this is still America.
